Dancing in the Sunshine
On Thursday 24th May, the children were treated to a lunchtime disco! After the great activities associated with Active April in the school including 10@10, active homework and organised lunchtime hurling and yard games, this was a great treat for all the children to enjoy being active together.

The local mill featured in a recent art activity in second class.
Futuristic Cars in Second Class
Pupils in second class were learning all about Karl Benz and the different types of transport available to us. They went on to discuss fossil fuels and car emissions and how we need to look after our environment for the future.
Pupils went on to design a car of the future which would be environmentally-friendly as well as being affordable. Sustainable energy was discussed in detail and links were made to the technology used in our passive village earlier this year.
